Valentines Day Wipe Off Countdown Calendar Printable

01/12/14 | Free Printable, Holidays, Valentines Day

My kids love Valentines Day.  They love buying Valentines for their class, and something a little extra for the boy or girl that actually asked them to be their Valentine.  I seem to overlook it more than other Holidays. This year I wanted to make it a little more special.

I made this cute wipe off countdown to Valentines Day printable along with a header for an advent calendar this year.  There are two valentines day wipe off calendars to choose from. One that says __ Days until Love Day, or __ Days until Valentines Day.  Take your pick.  These print as an 8×10.

Download __Days until Love Day HERE.

Download the Advent Calendar Topper HERE.
This one gets printed as a 4×6

Here’s how to make the fun advent countdown calendar.

Start with about 36″ of plastic wrap and place 14 candies about 1″ apart from each other down the length of the wrap.

Fold the wrap over itself and roll around the candy like so:

Use a complimentary color gift wrap ribbon and cut about 16 4″ strips.

Tie the ribbon on the top, in between, and at the end of the line.  Curl the ribbons.

Fold the print in half.

Sandwich the top of the wrap in between the folded print and staple it all together.

Punch a hole into the top middle of the print. I used a heart punch that kind of ripped the paper :/

Hang it on the wall and your done!

I use 3M hooks so there is no damage to the wall.

How to use the wipe off calendar.
Using an 8×10 frame with glass, add the print to the frame.  Use a dry erase marker to write the number of days left until Valentines day and wipe off and rewrite every day.

I hope you enjoy your calendars as much as my kids and I will.  Thanks for stopping by!
