My neighborhood always seems to have a person that starts this every year! My kids love it! I redesigned the little hand out, cause I am compulsive with photoshop, but here it is. The poem explains it all! Click on the picture to make it bigger so you can print it out, and have fun haunting!
The poem says:
I am the Ghost of Halloween
I go a haunting without being seen
Leaving treats at someones door
And asking you to give out more
Copy off this paper twice
For two of your neighbors just as nice
Include a treat, a prize, or more
Then place this Ghost on YOUR window or door
All you have is twenty-four hours
