Marvel Super Hero Mashers Review

#shop Marvel Super Hero Mashers Review

My boys love Marvel characters.  My youngest son has multiple dress ups of these characters and is constantly dressing up as a mix of them.  For example, one day he was Spider Hulk with Spiderman’s mask and Hulk’s fist, then the next day he was Captain Thor with Thor’s helmet and Captain America’s shield.  That’s why I knew he would absolutely LOVE these Marvel Super Hero Mashers.

They can be taken apart and re-arranged with compatible “parts”.  Mash up your hero, and then crack up your friends! Hasbro’s MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHERS feature your favorite MARVEL Super Heroes and Villains with completely interchangeable parts and accessories, so kids can create their ultimate (or ultimately silly!) hero. What if SPIDER-MAN had the smashing strength of the HULK, or CAPTAIN AMERICA could shoot off repulsor blasts like IRON MAN? With more than 20 unique MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHERS characters planned for 2014, there’s tons of ways to mash them all!

We got Captain America and Thor.  Two of our favorites.

Captain America comes with a shield.  He is the basic kit.
Thor was the UPGRADE version with his hammer, shields, cape and launching hammer missile.

The launching hammer missile is awesome because my boys love it when a toy actually does something!

My boys got busy opening them up.  In fact, I told them that they couldn’t open them until I took pictures of them, so they set them up and got them ready for pictures.  As you can see when I finally let them open them, there was some fighting going on as to who got to use Thor’s hammer first. Ha Ha!

The boys started assembling them in their normal state first.

Here they are assembled as their normal selves.

Then it was time to have some fun and MASH THEM UP!
Meet . . . Captain Thor-ica

And . . . Thor-merica.
(At least these are the names the boys came up with)

 Aren’t they awesome!?
My youngest son had to bring Captain America with him everywhere we went.  He had fun with just the one action figure too.  He would put his legs where his arms go, and make his arms extra long and his legs short so he would look like a Gorilla.  We had to go to the store and buy Spiderman too.  The store was already sold out of Hulk, so we’ll have to take another trip soon and see if we can get him and Iron Man.
They are so fun!
Hasbro also has a fun web site where you can go and make your own MASHUP online.  Be sure to check it out.  It’s lots of fun to make and name new characters.  Check out http://www.hasbro.com/heromashers/en_US/ and start creating.
So, are you ready to Make YOUR Mash-Up?
