Microwave Butterscotch Marshmallow Easter Egg Nests

Easter is one of my most favorite holidays. Celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, renewing life on earth and warm weather. What could be better than that? I love the candy and pastel colors that surround us at Easter time. These cute and easy Microwave Butterscotch Marshmallow Easter Egg Nests with Whoppers Eggs (Haystacks) are the perfect reminder of the New Life that comes along with the Easter season.

Easter Egg Butterscotch Marshmallow Nests 3These are so quick and simple to put together. The kids really had a fun time helping me make these.

Here is what you need to make these Microwaveable Butterscotch Marshmallow Easter Egg Nests:

1 (12 oz.) butterscotch chips
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups mini marshmallows
6 oz. chow mein noodles
Whoppers Easter Egg Candies

Line your counter top or two baking sheets with parchment paper or wax paper.

Microwave the butterscotch chips in a microwaveable medium bowl 30 seconds at a time until melted.

Add peanut butter and mix well.

Add marshmallows and noodles and mix well.

Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls and shape into nest shapes.

Add 3 candy eggs. Allow to stand and harden.
