Caprese Salsa with Pita Chips

07/24/14 | Recipes

My family really loves salsa. We also really love Caprese, which is Tomatoes, Basil and Mozzarella. So we thought it would be fun to make the Caprese ingredients into salsa.

Caprese Salsa with Pita Chips

It’s so easy and so fresh and healthy, and your kids will really like it too!

Here’s what you need:

  • 3-4 tomatoes (Roma are great) diced
  • 1/4 pound mozzarella cheese diced
  • 1 small bunch basil leaves chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoons good balsamic vinegar dressing like Kraft Balsamic Vinaigrette
  • Pita Chips like Stacey’s Pita Chips

Stir together the tomatoes, cheese, basil and dressing together and add salt to taste if needed. You’re done! Serve with Pita Chips. Yum!
