Double Cream Fruit Salad

07/14/15 | Desserts and Treats, Recipes, Salad, Sides

I love making fresh fruit salads in the summer time. Usually I just cut up a bunch of fruit and toss it together and that’s our fruit salad, but sometimes it needs more. When you are looking for something a little more sweet and creamy, this Double Cream Fruit Salad will hit the spot. And it’s perfect for a side dish at a picnic or barbecue.

Double Cream Fruit Salad

Double Cream Fruit Salad

  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 medium apples, cored, and diced
  • 2 medium banana sliced
  • 2 cups grapes
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 oz. softened cream cheese

Beat the cream cheese in a medium bowl until creamy. Slowly whip in the whipped cream with a whisk attachment and whip until a thick whipped cream consistency. Slowly fold in the powdered sugar. Add the fruit to a serving bowl. Pour the whipped topping on the fruit and mix together. Serve immediately or refrigerate for an hour and serve.
