Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Slush Floats – “Arctic Freeze”

Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Slush Floats

My kids are constantly asking me everyday in the summer if we can go and get a Slurpee from 7-11 or a Slushie from Sonic. I’m sick of spending so much money taking them for treats. Even during Happy Hour at Sonic, it still costs a pretty penny to take 5 kids for a slush. So we came up with our own recipe, it’s a little healthier and more natural than these store bought ones.

Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Slush Float

These Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Slush Floats contain real strawberries and Simply Lemonade. Just take away the ice cream if you want it even healthier.

Let’s get blending!

I have a VitaMix and I love it. It whips up anything I throw into it. I love making smoothies, soups, shakes, sauces, marinades and even salsa in my VitaMix blender. I would highly recommend using a VitaMix.

Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Slush Float

  • 10 fresh strawberries (you can use frozen if you want)
  • 4 cups Simply Lemonade
  • 15 large ice cubes
  • Vanilla Ice Cream (we like the Market Pantry French Vanilla from Target)

Add the strawberries to the blender and blend until smooth.
