I HATE slicing watermelons. The slices always come out crooked. So while I was camping, I watched my friend do this and I couldn’t believe I had never though of it before!
This is what she does:
-Cut off the end to make a flat base to set the watermelon up on your cutting board
-Start cutting off the rind with a sharp knife, all the way around
-then slice and dice and serve!
Simple!
