8 of My Favorite Gift Ideas for Grandma for Mothers Day

05/02/12 | Crafts, Gift Ideas, Holidays, Mothers Day

Mothers day is one of those holiday’s that I think I’m the only one who should get spoiled, but I guess I should give something to my own mom too! Oh yeah, and something for the mother who survived raising my husband! So here are some of my favorite ideas that I found on Pinterest (I love that site!).

This is a cute idea that I found. But instead I think I would have them spell out Nana, since that is what my kids call both of their grandma’s. I have five kids, so one would have to hold a heart or something 🙂 This is cute for your husbands if they can’t think of anything creative…

Does your grandma go to the farmers market?  Does she like to be environmentally friendly?  Make her these EASY produce bags!  They are made from old t-shirts. Click on the picture to go to the instructions.

Do you like to sew?  Make this cute Pin Tucked Apron for your Grandma or mother!  Super cute and looks pretty easy if you have a basic understanding of sewing.  I just might make one for myself! Click on the picture to go and see the tutorial from delia creates 🙂

Do it yourself Photo Pendant. Click the pic! You can find the class squares HERE.

Then there are the cute things you can make with a vinyl cutting machine… This one is cute with pictures of the grandkids. You can find those cute little clothes pins HERE.

I love this one reminding grandma of the kids’ birthdays!  Brilliant!  Click the pic for a tutorial. You can find those cute little round wood circles HERE.

So how many of your moms love to take food to a new mom or a sick neighbor?  What a great idea this is!  No more lost pans!  Click the pic for the tutorial! You can find the etching cream HERE.

A cute wipe off calendar.  You can buy the frame, get the vinyl cut, or make one through photoshop and print it on a 16×20.  Click the pic for more info.

I love your super personal gift ideas. The sentimental presents are usually what grannies love. I know my mother needs a Tracfone SVC for seniors for people who need bigger buttons and letters on the screen to see better ($15, $$7/month for service) but making up a personal gift of the grandchildren on a grandma wooden board looks sooo cute and much more desirable. <br />Thanks for your great
