Strawberries and cream or chocolate have to be my favorite all time treat! So, I thought it would be fun to add them all together at once. Now I know White Chocolate isn’t technically real chocolate, but is is paired perfectly with strawberries. These Stuffed Strawberries are the perfect Easter treat or even for brunch. Who am I kidding, I never have brunch, it’s just too fancy for me.
These are fairly easy to make. I’ll show you how. But first, lets get our ingredients together. Here is what you’ll need:
Sweet Cream Cheese Stuffed Strawberries with White Chocolate:
  • 2 pounds of fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • White dipping chocolate
  • Colored sugar or sprinkles if desired
Cut the tops and bottoms off of the strawberries. We cut the bottoms off so the strawberries will stand straight up. If you want them to lay on their sides like this next picture, then you don’t need to cut the bottoms off.

Using a paring knife or a very small melon baller, cut a hole in the center of the strawberry.

Next we get the cream cheese mixture ready. In your mixing bowl whip the cream cheese on medium high until smooth. Then slowly add the 1/2 cup powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Taste, add more sugar until the desired sweetness.
Add the cream cheese mixture to a sandwich sized zip lock bag. Snip off about 1/4 inch from one of the bottom corners to make a piping bag.

Pipe the cream cheese mixture into the strawberries scraping away when full. The kids like to help with this part 🙂

Now follow the instructions for melting the white chocolate. Dip the top of the strawberries into the chocolate and sprinkle with sugar.

I unfortunately found out that dipping the wet strawberries into the white chocolate was making the chocolate get lumpy so after a few dippings, I had to start using a spoon to spread the chocolate like so:

I thought I’d do some pastel colored sprinkles perfect for Spring or Easter.

Alternately, you can cut out the white chocolate and do this cool version too:

Just slice the strawberries like an X from the bottom up until the stem so it stays together.

Fill with the cream:
