The Best and Easiest Way to Cut a Watermelon

04/19/14 | 4th of July, Recipes, Summer

Cutting the watermelon has always been my husbands job around our house because I’m just not as good at using large knifes as he is. He’s had lot’s of experience with large knifes as a precocious boy in scouts. But since my friend taught me how use this method to cut a watermelon, I’ve been doing the job ever since. We were at a Primary Party and it was my job to bring the watermelon. She was watching me try to cut it, without success, when she stepped in and asked me if I wanted to know how she cut a watermelon. I use this method every time! This method is less messy and you can cut the perfect sized watermelon cubes.
