We have been experimenting with different mix ins and this one is a keeper. These Sour Cream Brownies with Chocolate Velvet Frosting are awesome! Not to mention easy because they are from a mix.Sour Cream Brownies with Chocolate Velvet Frosting. From a mix, but so much better! From Tips From a Typical Mom.

Sour Cream Brownies

2 pkg (close to 20 oz each) brownie mix. We love Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies
2/3 cup melted butter
1 cup regular sour cream
4 large eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom only of a 9×13 pan or line with foil.

In your stand mixer or a medium mixing bowl, beat the brownie mix, butter, sour cream and eggs until well combined.

Pour into your prepared pan and smooth out.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick poked in the center comes out clean. Do not over bake.
