Someone Flew a Drone through Fireworks! See for yourself.

07/06/14 | 4th of July, Photography, Summer

I love the 4th of July for so many different reasons. I’m so proud to be an American and so blessed to have been born in the family I have. I am so thankful for all the service men and women who risk their lives for us to be free. Free to choose our religion, our jobs, where we live, and how we live.

I love the family get togethers on Independence Day. I love the BBQ’s. But most of all I love the fireworks.

I don’t really like setting them off myself. I hate sparklers. And I’m always paranoid that someone will blow a finger off. That being said, I love the huge fireworks displays the cities put on. It’s just not the 4th of July without them in my opinion.

I’ve always wondered what it would look like to be in the middle of it all. Taking in all the scenery up close.

Well someone was a genius (or maybe he’s crazy because his camera might explode) and decided to fly his drone through a huge fireworks display. His name is Jos Stiglingh and he is amazing. He said his drone was not hurt in the filming. 😉

Check it out and dream about flying. The footage is nothing short of amazing.
