7 Women from History to Name Your Baby Girl After

03/08/16 | Babies, Parenting

Today, March 8th, is National Women’s Day. And to celebrate we are talking about 7 Women from History to Name Your Baby Girl After. These women were pioneers for women’s rights and we owe them so much! From Ada Lovelace and her achievements in Science and Technology, to Amelia Earhart and her trip across the Atlantic Ocean in an Airplane, we love these women and are so proud of them. I am so happy to be a woman. I love the opportunity I have to be a daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend. I love my role in my family as a wife and mother. This is what I was born for and I am proud to be a woman. I am blessed to be born in a time where women’s rights are equal to men and that I can do and become anything I want to be. I’m glad that my daughters have that opportunity also, and we owe it all to these amazing women from history. So take a moment today to tell the women in your life how very much you appreciate all that they do for you! Happy women’s day everyone!
