Healthy Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles for Kids

06/06/18 | Desserts and Treats, Family Activities, Popsicles, Recipes, Sponsored, Summer

Healthy Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

I don’t know about your kids but mine are hungry all day long in the summer time. Playing outside in the heat really wears them out and sucks the energy out of them. So if I’m not prepared with a bunch of healthy snacks and meals for them, they are going to eat whatever they can get their hands on. Like the candy stash they think I don’t know about!

We love to make something new each week on Make it Monday’s (see our full summer schedule HERE). So we decided to create a new Healthy Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle Recipe so we could have a delicious treat to help us cool down after we got home from the lake. They were delicious!

Healthy Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

We love to go on a picnic at the lake at least once a week during the summer. I don’t like too much prep time for the picnic but I still want my family to eat healthy foods. So we grab some fruit and veggies and a few Full Circle Brand snacks and drinks from Associated Food Stores. I love the family of Full Circle Products. Everything they make is certified organic so I can feel good about serving them to my family.

Full Circle Market Organic Foods

Full Circle Market provides delicious organic and natural foods. They also sell eco-friendly home and personal care items. Full Circle Market products contain no preservatives, artificial sweeteners, food colorings or food flavorings. I was so surprised when I saw the huge variety of foods that Full Circle Market sells. Dairy, meat, seafood, fruit, veggies, grains, pasta, gluten-free, mixes, juice, almond and soy milk, and so much more. There are no antibiotics or steroids in the meat and dairy. They don’t use hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup either. Talk about a mothers shopping dream! When you grab a Full Circle Market item off the shelf, you know you are getting the highest quality product for yourself and your family.

Now you say, “Wait! Isn’t eating organically expensive?” That’s what I though too! But the Full Circle Market brand allows you to eat healthy organic products without spending an arm and a let. You can live natural and organic while living on a budget too! These products are easy to find too because the are carried by locally-owned and independent grocers so you know when you shop Full Circle, you’re supporting local business. Full Circle Market Organic Foods

I took a stroll around my local Macey’s and Fresh Market store the other day just so I could see all the things that Full Circle Market sells and I was so shocked! I could literally fill my pantry with healthy snacks for my kids using these organic foods. Here is a picture of the few things I decided to buy that I knew my kids would love. I couldn’t even fit them all in the picture! Ha Ha! I didn’t have room for the salsa and frozen waffles.

So let’s get into the yummy Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle recipe.

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients

1 2/3 cup Full Circle Organic Frozen Strawberries
1½ cup vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon Full Circle Organic Honey

Healthy Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Directions

Place 2 cups strawberries, 1 cup yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey in a blender container; process until smooth. Stir together 1/2 cup yogurt in a medium bowl; gently stir in a couple tablespoons of the strawberry mixture and spoon evenly into bottoms of 6 large popsicle molds. Carefully pour blended strawberry mixture evenly over bottom layers. Insert popsicle stick and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours. 6 servings.

I hope you enjoy this delicious and healthy recipe. These would be great for a fun breakfast too! Here is an easy to follow video if you are more of a visual learner like me.

We love to take all of our Full Circle Market products to the lake for a picnic. Be sure to grab a few for your next summer picnic.
