This is one of my all time FAVORITE things I have ever DID! Ha Ha! The “junk drawer” was driving me crazy about a year ago. My kids could NEVER find the things they needed to get their homework done, and you know how crazy that makes us moms, right? So I decided to buy an over the door shoe organizer and move the stuff to the hallway closet.

The most brilliant thing I have ever done! I am not kidding, my kids have kept this thing organized, we can always find what we are looking for and we never have to go searching for the scissors (cause they always go missing around my house). We have been using it for about a year now, and it is still organized. I bought a plastic white one so I could write on the pockets, one huge thing you will need to do in order for it to STAY organized. Be sure to watch my YouTube video about this HERE! Great idea! I have two of these as well. One is inside my 10-year-old son's closet for him to store doodads and other things like his flashlight collection. I hang my other one on the back of my laundry room door and it have every last one of my cleaning supplies/bottles/scrub brushes in it. Probably the best organizational thing I've ever done and such a space saver!
