Mint Malt Crockpot Hot Chocolate Best Christmas Drink EVER!

12/15/12 | Christmas, Holidays, Recipes, slowcooker

This drink is by far one of the most requested things I make during the Holiday Season.  If I don’t make it for parties, everyone gets mad at me!  Who doesn’t love chocolate, mint and malt?  Combine them all and you have this AWESOME party drink that is also the EASIEST thing in the world!

Ingredients:
One Gallon Whole Milk
20 chocolate-covered cream filled mint patties (mini york peppermint patties)
1 1/2 cups chocolate malted milk powder
3 tsp. vanilla
Whipped cream and chocolate syrup for topping (optional)

In slow cooker, combine mint patties with milk, malted milk powder and vanilla.  Heat on low for 2 hours. Beat with a whisk or rotary beater until frothy.  Pour into cups and top with whipped cream, syrup and maybe even some crushed up candy canes 🙂

Makes about 18 one cup servings.
