When preparing for guests, it can be hard to figure out exactly what you will need to stock up on for the bathroom. But, I think I have it figured out. We used to live about a four hour drive away from family and friends, so we had visitors frequently. I’ve learned what I need to stock up on and what I need to do to prepare the bathroom for guests. I think the bathroom is the most embarrassing room for a guest to see when it isn’t at its best. Don’t you agree?
The number one thing to stock up on in the bathroom is Toilet paper! The most important thing on your bathroom list. We run out of toilet paper like it’s going out of style at our house. No one wants to be the one to find out there is no more toilet paper either, so make sure to stock the bathroom with a few extra rolls. Make sure to store rolls in an easy to find place where guests can easily grab more. We love using a hook that can go onto the side of the toilet bowl tank. That way when the old roll runs out, they just have to reach back and grab a new one.

Other things to think about:
- Lot’s of clean towels. Buy some new white ones if you need to. You can get a package for a good deal at Costco. White, clean, fresh smelling towels just scream sanitary! 🙂 Wash them with fabric softener for an extra nice touch.
- Clean hand towels
- Clean wash cloth’s
- Great smelling hand soap in a pump. If it’s the holidays, get some holiday scents.
- Keep disinfecting wipes on the toilet tank. Then you can just grab one quickly and freshen up the bathroom in the wink of an eye.
- Clean the bathroom thoroughly before guests come, and keep it clean while they are visiting.
