Chewy Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1- 10 oz. bag Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/4 cups butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, beat the butter until and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and mix well. Add the eggs one at a time until well blended. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking soda, and cocoa with a fork until mixed well. Slowly add to the butter mixture a little at a time until well incorporated. Add the peanut butter chips and mix well. Drop by the tablespoon full onto an ungreased cookie sheet. I like to use stoneware because my cookies always come out perfect with no brown bottoms. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Since these are chocolate cookies, you will not see browning. You need to look at the edges and see if they are done before removing from the oven. Enjoy with a tall glass of milk!
