How to Tackle Teen Acne Before School Starts + Clearasil® Sweepstakes

07/26/17 | Back To School, Sponsored, Teens

“I was asked to participate in the #ClearlyConfident campaign, sponsored by Clearasil® at Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.”

How to Tackle Teen Acne Before School Starts

When your child is old enough to head to High School they start to face unique challenges.

The journey from child to teen isn’t always an easy one. Puberty and stress can really take a toll on a child’s face so today I’m sharing with you some of my favorite tips for Tackling Teen Acne Before School Starts.

It’s not surprising that my teen’s acne improves in the summer time. They get outside more, they have a less stressful life, and they get to relax and just hang out. But when they realize that school is about to start, they start stressing and the acne comes back with a vengeance. They don’t really like to go out and about when they are in the middle of a breakout which doesn’t make my life easy. I feel like my kids are pretty lucky because they have never had acne bad enough to have to go see a dermatologist about it. But when they do have breakouts I want to help them as much as I can. Getting those breakouts under control mean a lot to my teens, so it means a lot to me.

No teenager wants to start school with acne.

I wish our world were a better place to live and teenagers weren’t so harsh on each other, but they are, so we do all we can to make their transition back to school as easy as possible. Did you know that sweat and stress are the two biggest perceived causes of pimples/acne? Since we’ve been through this before with our older kids we can help give you some great tips.

The first thing we do is enlist the help of Clearasil®.

How to Tackle Teen Acne Before School Starts

Clearasil is Dermatologist tested so I know that it’s going to do what it says it will. I know it’s safe for my kids. The Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Action products are scientifically formulated with maximum strength medication to effectively treat acne. This way my teen will get visible results, fast, and they can walk through those school doors feeling #ClearlyConfident. And what’s most important, it actually works!

We always head to Walgreens to pick up our school supplies, and the Clearasil Ultra products are always on our list.

I love to shop at Walgreens because they always have such great deals on the things I need for my family. I always find great coupons and I love being a part of their Balance Rewards program. I’m always receiving great deals. When I bought these products I received a $4.00 off coupon instantly.

The Clearasil products are located right inside the doors of my Walgreens so I walked right to them and grabbed what I needed. I was in and out of there in less than 4 minutes. I love that!

Here are the deals on Clearasil at Walgreens to look forward to:

July – Full Line BOGO 50%
August – $2.00 off IVC
September $2.00 off IVC

The three Clearasil products that we purchase are the Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Action Daily Face Wash, Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Action Vanishing Treatment Cream, and Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Acton Pads. They all work together to help give my teens healthy skin and a great complexion.

1. Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Action Daily Face Wash keeps my kids face clean from oils and sweat that can cause stubborn acne. I love that this product helps them maintain healthy habits in their life. Sometimes it’s like pulling teeth to get my teens to take a shower, but I know at least they are washing their face every day because it’s the most visible part of their body. The face wash reduces redness and pimple size in as little as 12 hours.

2. Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Action Vanishing Treatment Cream  is applied to the face up to three times a day. And guess what? It works in about 4 hours! My teens love that it’s so fast working. Be sure to start with one treatment and work your way to three to see how much it will dry out your face. Only use the amount needed.

3. Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Acton Pads gently exfoliate the skin as well as cleansing the face and treating acne.
