Slow Cooker Smoked Sausage, Bacon & Potato Soup + Ninja Cooking System Giveaway

11/28/17 | Recipes, slowcooker, Soup

“This post was created in partnership with Ninja® Cooking System with Auto-iQâ„¢. I received complimentary products and compensation to facilitate my review, but all opinions within are my own.”

Smoked Sausage Bacon and Potato Soup

I’m a busy mom of 5 starting my own business, writing a blog and cooking dinner every night.

That’s why I love anything that makes my life easier in the kitchen. Getting a home cooked meal on the table every night is really hard! Not to mention trying to decide what to make that the whole family will like.

That’s why I turn to my Slow Cooker at least three times a week during the busy school months.

My favorite slow cooker is the Ninja® Cooking System with Auto-iQ™  because it’s not just a slow cooker, it’s more of a multi cooker. You can bake cupcakes, breads, roasts and more! You can steam veggies or seafood.

It acts as a stove top so you can saute veggies or sear meats. This makes clean up a cinch! Using only one system for all of this gives my pots and pans and dishwasher a break.

If you are running late getting home, the Auto Stay-Warm function keeps dinner hot and ready for you.

It holds 6-quarts and is nonstick. And dishwasher safe so it makes cleanup a breeze.

What’s even better? The Auto-iQ Technology features more than 80 pre-programmed recipes. The Ninja Cooking System comes with a cookbook that serves as your guide.

Just choose a recipe, add your ingredients, select a recipe number and let Auto-iQ cook for you. They have a great variety too. Quick meals, layered bowls, poached infusions and grains.

Now let’s get on with the recipe for this delicious soup! I have an easy to follow video and the recipe below.

  • 4 celery stalks diced
  • 4 large carrots diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 16 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream

Turn the Ninja Cooking System on by pressing Stovetop High and let the system heat up for about 3 minutes. Add the bacon and onion and saute until the bacon is crispy. About 5 minutes. Add the sausage and celery and cook for 3 more minutes. Add the carrots, potatoes and chicken broth.

Fast method: Cover and cook on high stovetop and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to Stovetop Low and cook for about 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
