A few months ago I started a journey to get healthier. I had the opportunity to work with MD Diet Clinic to get on track to losing the weight I’ve gained from stress and neglect to myself. I’m happy to say that at the end of month two, I’ve lost 20 pounds!! Can you even believe it?
Here is my before and after. February 19th- April 19th.
I just can’t get over how different my face looks.
I feel so much more healthy and I’m getting excited for the summer. I will be able to get outside and play more with the kids. Go on hikes, go swimming, go on vacation without my horrible headaches. It’s going to be a great summer!
I recently changed the face of my Apple Watch so that every time I look at it I am reminded to get up and get moving. If you don’t have an Apple Watch or a fitness tracker, and you want to lose weight, I highly suggest getting one. I haven’t exercised much with this diet other than a lot of hard work out in the yard recently (I lost weight faster when I was outside working), but I am planning on taking on a regular exercise program for the summer. I need to speed up the “get healthy” process and build more muscle.
This is what my Apple Watch looks like now every time I look at it:
I’ve changed the shortcuts though. I have my messages in the upper left hand corner and weather in the upper right hand corner. Then the date below. I love the fact that I can customize the watch face. Right now my watch looks pretty similar to this one, so I know I need to get up and move more today.
On the MD Diet they suggest working out at least 30 minutes every day.
At least a brisk walk. So that’s my next goal to reach given by them. I am loving being held accountable for what I’m doing. I go in each week and get weighed and get my Vitamin Injections. I explained a little bit about these on my Instagram Stories a few weeks ago. If you don’t already follow me over there, be sure to because that’s where I share a lot about my journey.
You can learn more about the Vitamin Injections over on the MD Diet website. But basically you need them as injections because your stomach acid eats right through most of the vitamin B’s you’re getting from your food. B Vitamins help with your energy levels while you’re losing weight. Because you can become over tired when you are eating less.
This is why I have not been exercising as much because I wanted my body to get used to less calories before I started burning the ones I was taking in. I feel like I have a lot more energy now than I did when I started the diet though, and those vitamin shots really have helped me.

They have locations in California and Utah. I love going to the Murray, Utah office. The staff there are so great to work with and make me feel good about myself each time I visit. I’m also in and out of there in record time so I don’t have to take up my whole morning in a doctors office.
