I don’t know about you, but I HATE shopping for swimming suits. I think my body is a lot different than the average woman because there are no bathing suits out there that I think fit my figure. I have an apple shaped body, so I’m really thick in the middle. I don’t have an hourglass shape. I am so glad to have found these Figleaves Swimming suits. They are made for real women with real curves. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they don’t have small sizes, they understand how a woman is shaped and they make swimming suits that actually fit. It’s so adorable, and no, I will not show you a picture of me in it. That would not be a good thing. Trust me. It’s just barely warming up here so I’m pasty white and still have a few (more like 50) Christmas Chocolate pounds to shed 😉

I tried on this swimming suit feeling really skeptical about how it would fit me. I LOVE it! The bum area actually covered my bum, the mid section pulled me in at the waist. The back of this swimming suit is so cute with the 3 straps on each side that criss cross. And the front is so cute with the mesh polka dots. And let me just say, that the bust area is my favorite. You know how some swimming suits have inserts in that area to give it some extra coverage and padding? Then they get all bunched up and wrinkled looking after wearing it in the pool? Well this swimming suit will not do that. Look at how they’ve stitched that area:
They stitched it right onto the lining. Brilliant!
The material on this swimming suit is also very thick and I can tell it won’t wear out quickly. The quality is high end.

Annette- thank you for sharing this! I have the hardest time finding swimsuits because I am pear shaped. I have not been able to find a one-piece suit that fits my large bottom and small bust – so I just always have to buy separates. It feels a little ridiculous to be buying both a Small AND a Large. The kind of suits that you can’t mix and match I am just out of luck. I can’t wait to check out Figleaves! 🙂
